- Start earning $35 per massage after approx. 6 weeks training
- Massage Training is 1 year minimum, as req’d by state law

- Schedule will be part-time, about 19-20 hours/week, tentatively:

Wednesday, 9-3:30 (We are open to schedule
Thursday, 9-3:30 changes if different hours
Friday, 9-1:30 work better for students)
Saturday, 10-2 —clinic hours massaging public— - Curriculum required for each therapist is $250
- Students will need to apply for an apprentice massage license through Department of Occupational & Professional Licensing (DOPL) - dopl.utah.gov (we will show you how)
- Students will be required to keep a log of clinic hours, educational hours, homework, etc. (we will show you how)
- Upon graduating, students will be able to take and pass the Mblex state licensing exam to become licensed massage practitioners. You can then apply to work anywhere in the state or start your own practice. There are no guarantees of employment at MassageWorx.
- Joshua is in his 24th year as a massage therapist and in his 22nd year as a Board Certified practitioner
- Many massage modalities will be covered, including but not limited to: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Injury Therapy, Structural, Movement, Acupressure, CranialSacral Therapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Thai Yoga, PNF Stretching, Sports, Seated, Spa, Disability, and so many more different types of massage.
- Students practice on each other; you will receive massage therapy every school day!
